Pursuant to F.S. 732.901 The will of the decedent must be deposited by the custodian with the Clerk of the Courts Office in the county where the decedent resided within ten days after receiving information of the death of the maker of the will. The custodian must provide the decedent’s date of death and social security number to the Clerk of Courts when depositing the will. There is no fee to deposit the will with the Clerk of Courts.
